Lunging and long lining WITHOUT without pressure to the withers
Most surcingles apply nutcracker like pressure to the horse's withers - either to the sides
or top of the spinous processes.
Barefoot have solved this problem:
Underneath the Barefoot Surcingle 'Horse Friend', the withers remain unrestricted and free of any pressure.
The supports on both sides of the withers are extra wide and softly padded allowing the muscles to develop without being squeezed.
There are 5 sturdy D-Rings on either side: for side reins, long reins or other training aids.
The surcingle is made from genuine, hard wearing leather, with an adjusting, soft foam padding on the
underside covered in suede leather.
The medium width firbreglass insert fits almost all horses however, if required,it can also be exchanged
