Each pet wears a tag that carries a secret code to let you enter Webkinz World – a safe, educational, and fun online community!

Name and adopt each pet, play games, trivia challenges, and design a home for your new pets. L’il Kinz are safe, friendly and hours of fun!

It’s easy! Buy your favourite pet, go online, use your secret code to register your pet, and then find cool games to play, and learn, you can even decorate your new pet’s home, and you choose your new pets name, and if it’s a boy or a girl! You can also chat to other members online, and you will need to care for your pet - find out when it is hungry, happy and healthy!

What are Webkinz?

Webkinz are small plush toys available in two sizes, standard and Lil' Kinz.

However these are not just cuddly toys alone!

So what makes them special?

With all Webkinz, both standard and Lil' Kinz, inside each unopened tag is a unique code.

This code can be used on the

where you can register ownership of the particular character purchased, this is through what is called the adoption centre.

What's so good about that?

Even though the plush toys may look the same, each code even with the same species means that the character adopted may have a totally different personality in Webkinz world - so there in theory you could have a whole flock of differently behaving sheep in your area on the website.

Adoption Centre
The Adoption Centre helps new members register their pets Ms. Birdy helps kids register, choose a name and then sends their pets to be checked out by Dr. Quack before they start to play!
	Webkinz & Lil'Kinz Newz
	The Webkinz Newz is the site's daily newspaper. It's the first thing kids see every time they log onto the site. It's definitely the place to get announcements of anything and everything that's new, including results of contests and high scores too!
	Today's Activities
	The place to find fun daily and hourly activities. It changes every day, so kids learn to keep a sharp eye on it! Giveaways, Wacky's Bingoz and other once-a-day events let kids earn more treats and KinzCash There's also hourly events, designed around the after-school and after-homework hours
	My Room
	Every pet gets their own room in Webkinz World. Kids can decorate each room with colourful and fun furnishings from the W Shop. Earn more Kinzcash to add on more rooms and yards, so pets can play outdoors. Stoves and fridges work, so meals can be cooked and stored--even the plumbing works! Kids can set their imaginations free, and create crazy rooms for their favorite pets!

What if I'm not online?

That's not a reason to not adopt a little critter. As with other "previous collectables" the Webkinz collections has regular retirees so that you still get the thrill of the hunt and the desire to get as many of the collection as possible. So get in early to get them before they get harder to find (and also could prove more expensive to obtain)
