Since there is no pressure at all in the rear part, the horse can move freely. Even if the saddle looks a little too long on your horse, choose the size according to your measurements. It is very important that the saddle fits the rider well, so he has enough space between thighs and pommel and does not sit on the pommel or cantle, which would limit the saddle's adaptability. The horse's back is free of any pressure at the rear – the Barefoot can even be lifted slightly at the cantle with a rider on board.

Healthy back due to our VPS SystemVPS stands for vertebrae protecting system. It consists of a combination of different materials which enable the rider’s weight to be distributed evenly over the largest possible saddle area .Even at a standing trot, the rider's weight is distributed over the entire saddle surface there is therefore no weight restriction for riders. For more information see: Barefoot flyer VPS-System.
Exchange pommel Size MediumWe normally deliver this saddle with an exchangeable pommel insert in size MEDIUM. Each Barefoot saddle is equipped with an exchangeable pommel at the front, which allows it to be adapted to the shoulder width of your horse. With the help of our measuring template you can easily determine the correct size of pommel insert for your horse
Adjustable Velcro stirrup suspensionThe adjustable Velcro stirrup suspension is attached between the seat and the saddle substructure and is therefore easy to adjust. This means that the saddle can easily be adapted to riders with different leg lengths simply by moving the stirrup suspension either backwards or forwards.
Wide Stirrup-AttachmentNarrow stirrup attachment approx. 5 cm width, suitable for wide leathers and wide fenders.

Hi, The delivery time wasn’t brilliant, it took just over 4 weeks for my saddle to arrive but I have to admit that it appears to have been worth the wait and the people were very nice to deal with. I also bought a physio pad & girth. Took my boy out for his first real test in the Atlanta yesterday, a 20 mile endurance ride and despite being brand new & him sweating a lot there wasn’t a single rub anywhere on him. As you’d expect I had to stop a few times to adjust stirrups etc as they began to settle & give a little but other than that it was great. My lad is 16.1hh and I weigh 86Kg, so the one thing I was concerned about was my saddle slipping especially if I had to mount from the ground whilst out on the route but it stayed absolutely rock solid; it didn’t budge an inch. Extremely comfortable & my boy continually offered a trot without being asked so it must have been comfortable for him as well. I had previously tried a Hilason endurance saddle but it was absolute rubbish & put me off treeless saddles for over 4 years but decided to give Barefoot a try after spending those 4 years trying to find a saddle to fit my boy, a totally different class of treeless saddle! I’m very pleased.

I received my Atlanta saddle yesterday and took it for a 'test-run' straight after work. The saddle is extremely comfortable and I found the short skirts brilliant for my short legs (I am 4' 11"). Rising trot seemed a bit strange to start with, but I think this is due to having ridden in a dressage saddle for two years. I soon found my balance point. I have yet to put the fenders on, but they look to be of a very good quality. My pony was practically smiling as I did the girth up and was happy throughout the whole ride. The one thing I need to explain is that I have the world's most difficult pony to fit a saddle to. She is rump high, forward girth grooved, narrower at the front than the back and very round with no withers. There has only ever been one other saddle that did not move on her, so I am serously impressed with this one! The customer service from this company is second to none and I would highly recommend buying a saddle from them. Thank you so much, Nat :o)
