    Barefoot 'Barrydale' Saddle

    The anatomically shaped, duo coloured, soft Nubuck leather knee rolls, incorporated in the detachable seat of this Barefoot® Saddle, frame the rider to allow for a deep and very secure seat whether out hacking or in the arena. The Barefoot 'Barrydale' is particularly popular with Endurance Riders - strenuous up and down - no problem with this saddle. Your legs are precisely positioned, the saddle stays secure, the horse's back pressure free - a must especially on long distance rides.
     
    The stirrup bar can be freely positioned between saddle & seat to suit your preferred seat position & your size.
     
    Flexible, V-Shaped girthing system. The saddle is also suitable for difficult girthing positions. It lies a little further forward than conventional saddles, therefore positions the rider directly above the horse's center of gravity.
     
    Your horse will find it easier to balance your weight.
     
    With this saddle you will feel your horse's muscles work and the movement of its back, the basic requirements for more advanced riding.
     
    9D-Rings to secure saddle pad or luggage. As with all Barefoots, the pommel insert (medium size) can be exchanged.

    Healthy back due to our VPS System

    VPS stands for vertebrae protecting system. It consists of a combination of different materials which enable the rider’s weight to be distributed evenly over the largest possible saddle area .Even at a standing trot, the rider's weight is distributed over the entire saddle surface there is therefore no weight restriction for riders.     Flexible V-Girthing - even works for critical horse girth areas

    The movable V-strap is often used when a horse has girthing problems. It gives the elbow plenty of room to move and, because the two strands can move independently of one another, the pressure from the girth is distributed more evenly.

    Narrow Stirrup-Attachment

    Narrow stirrup attachment approx. 2.5 cm width, suitable for all English stirrup leathers and narrow fenders.

    Adjustable Velcro stirrup suspension

    The adjustable Velcro stirrup suspension is attached between the seat and the saddle substructure and is therefore easy to adjust. This means that the saddle can easily be adapted to riders with different leg lengths simply by moving the stirrup suspension either backwards or forwards.

    Exchange pommel Size Medium

    We normally deliver this saddle with an exchangeable pommel insert in size MEDIUM. Each Barefoot saddle is equipped with an exchangeable pommel at the front, which allows it to be adapted to the shoulder width of your horse. With the help of our measuring template you can easily determine the correct size of pommel insert for your horse.

    Fantastic saddle, received my barrydale last week & it has to be the comfiest saddle I've ever sat in. Perfect support for my creaky knees & ive had no back ache whatsoever since using it. Fits my welsh cob perfectly & he's so much happier with a treeless, more forward, less spooky obviously more comfortable. I can't recommend this saddle enough - it is awesome especially on long hacks - don't think about it, just get one, you'll be transformed. Thank you horse and harmony for great customer service.
