Barefoot® 'Cheyenne Bellis' Saddle
Adorable pony saddle for children made of water repellant DryTex™ with smooth texture, very easy to take care of, just clean with a wetsponge. These saddles like all Barefoot´s have a panel system to protect the pony´s spine.A matching key ring is included: with the black/blue saddle comes the little, cheeky Bellis.The saddle settles and seats the young rider safely while offering good stability. Beginners can hold on to the elevated front pommel. Since riders experience good feel for the movement of the horse in all our Barefoot® saddles, novice riders progress fast in developing an independant and balanced seat.Color matching fleece underside. 6 D-rings to attach the saddlepad, saddlebags crupper and breastplate if necessary.The fiberglass insert (wide size) can be exchange for a small soft insert.• Flexible in all 3 directions• Offers secure seat• Close contact seat will teach beginners faster to adjust to the horse´s movement• Weight only4 kgWe recommend our DryTex versions for use as a spare saddle or for beginners. Since there is no pressure at all in the rear part, the horse can move freely. Even if the saddle looks a little too long on your horse, choose the size according to your measurements. It is very important that the saddle fits the rider well, so he has enough space between thighs and pommel and does not sit on the pommel or cantle, which would limit the saddle's adaptability. The horse's back is free of any pressure at the rear – the Barefoot can even be lifted slightly at the cantle with a rider on board.

Care and Maintenance of Barefoot ProductsHealthy back due to our VPS SystemVPS stands for vertebrae protecting system. It consists of a combination of different materials which enable the rider’s weight to be distributed evenly over the largest possible saddle area .Even at a standing trot, the rider's weight is distributed over the entire saddle surface there is therefore no weight restriction for riders. Narrow Stirrup-AttachmentNarrow stirrup attachment approx. 2.5 cm width, suitable for all English stirrup leathers and narrow fenders.
Adjustable Velcro stirrup suspensionThe adjustable Velcro stirrup suspension is attached between the seat and the saddle substructure and is therefore easy to adjust. This means that the saddle can easily be adapted to riders with different leg lengths simply by moving the stirrup suspension either backwards or forwards.
The DryTex™ saddle
This saddle is made of lightweight DryTex™ (water-repellent textile leather). DryTex material is very easy to clean, simply using a damp cloth or sponge - virtually washable. The girth straps are made of leather. We recommend using our matching DryTex™, stirrup leathers with the DryTex saddle, as sharp-edged stirrup leathers can damage the material.
