Barefoot's Bridle 'Syringa' is a combination bridle that can be used as Bitless Side Pull or Bitless Cross-Under. It is also suited for lungeing and ground work.
Browband and headpiece are softly padded. Headpiece is also extra wide and therefore reduces the pressure behind the ears. Double rope noseband, knotted at the side, transmits pressure to the nose.
Bitless Bridle: Used as Cross-Under, the throatlashes are used as prolonged reins which cross-under the horse's chin. Aids are easily understood. A short impulse on the left rein will apply pressure onto the right hand side of the horse's cheek (and vice versa) resulting in the horse moving away from the pressure to the left. A short impulse on both reins or alternating on both will lead your horse to yield.
Used as Sidepull, the throatlashes can simply and quickly be removed, then simply attach the reins to the rings on the noseband.
Bridle is fully adjustable and is sold inclusive matching rope / leather combi reins.
